Barrister Chan Kin Lik Nick (Counsel Nick Chan) Guilty of Professional Misconduct

By a Decision dated 9 January 2014 (followed by a Corrigendum dated 10 March 2014), a Barristers Disciplinary Tribunal found five (5) complaints of professional misconduct against Lawyer Chan Kin Lik (“Chan”) to have been proved. Further, by Reasons for Sentence handed down on 10 March 2014, the Barristers Disciplinary Tribunal ordered, inter alia. that Chan’s name be struck off the Roll of Barristers.
